about me

Photographer @ Heart

Since the early 1990's I've have been the family photographer always behind the camera trying to capture that special moments.  My first camera was a 110 film camera that had a slide in and slide out telephoto lens.  Then I moved up to an advantix film camera, which I really enjoyed using even for a point and shoot.  My first SLR was a Nikon N95, which I've liked because it was my first slr, from then I moved to digital, Nikon D40 was my first DSLR which I've enjoyed using for everything from IR photography to macro.  In 2010 I bought my first semi-pro DSLR the canon 7d, which I still today use and love. Now a days I shoot almost everything with it my back up camera is my Samsung Galaxy SIII mainly because I carry it everywhere.

In 2009 I've started TruEye Photography in Hilo,HI.  Since I've moved in 2013 to Portland,OR I now run Zbylut Photography, a freelance photographer.
